The WhisperKOOL® System
The WhisperKOOL System is the economical option in meeting the cabinet's cooling needs. It utilizes the industry-standard forced air-cooling system. The WhisperKOOL system comes in two different sizes: a standard 1200 BTU model and a 2300 BTU model for extra cooling in demanding environments. |

Advanced QT Cooling System
The cooling system is one of the most important components of your wine cabinet. Make sure your cooling system is built by a trusted manufacturer, that it is quiet, that the temperature control has electronic precision and that the temperature remains relatively constant inside the cabinet. Find out if your wine cabinet requires a drip pan — if so, you'll need to clean it frequently to ensure that mold doesn't grow inside the wine cabinet, creating bacteria and odors that might harm your valuable wine collection.
All Vinothèque living space wine cabinets include the technically advanced QT cooling systems . The WhisperKOOL cooling systems are designed and manufactured by Vinothèque, the technology leader in wine storage and refrigeration technology. Vinothèque's QT System is the single most advanced wine cellar temperature and humidity maintenance unit in the world.
Vinothèque's wine cabinets feature custom WhisperKOOL cooling systems that use electronic temperature control and have digital displays, thereby allowing you to precisely set the desired temperature inside your wine cabinet. All Vinothèque wine cabinets feature a Liquid Measuring thermostat. The liquid measuring thermostat comes with a probe that measures the liquid temperature in a wine bottle for the most accurate temperature monitoring and control.
The wine cooling system employs natural convection refrigeration, allowing the cabinet to cool from the rear forward resulting in higher efficiency. Temperature consistency is assured by the temperature equalizer feature.

QT & Forced Air Cooling Systems
Wine cabinets with forced air cooling systems have lower temperature fluctuations inside the wine cabinet compared to traditional cold wall cooling system. A forced air cooling system has the benefit of minimal maintenance, but by its nature creates more noise and vibrations than an advanced cold wall system.
Properly engineered, advanced cold wall systems can offer unsurpassed sophistication, performing the cooling without any vibrations, superior quietness and efficiency.
Vinothèque offers two distinct cooling systems for its wine cabinets. Vinothèque cooling options start with the economical WhisperKOOL forced air cooling system , which is considered to be the industry standard. We think that forced air systems are best for non-living quarter environments such as a garage or cellar.
Vinothèque wine cabinets for location in living quarters come standard with the advanced QT cooling system , which offers cooling sophistication, performance and efficiency beyond what forced air system can offer.

All of the Vinothèque cabinets come equipped with the PDT thermostat system. The thermostat incorporates a self-calibrating probe |

PDTjr® Liquid-Measuring Thermostat
This system incorporates a probe designed to measure the liquid temperature in a wine bottle rather than the air temperature of the cellar. This results in several distinct advantages:
• Wine is maintained at a precise, measured temperature
• The unit will switch on/off less often, extending cooling unit life.
• The unit will run longer during cycles effectively maintaining humidity. |

PDT® Series Thermostat
Years of research and testing have gone into the design of this completely new technology - resulting in advanced microprocessor controlled digital technology and pinpoint accuracy. This unit offers some distinct features and benefits:
• Self-Calibrating Probe - contains a microchip, which communicates back and forth to the thermostat, resulting in accuracy.
• Heavy Duty Circuitry - designed to resist power surges, which play havoc on sensitive electrical components.
• Fahrenheit and Celsius Readout - for use in the United States as well as around the world. |

| Dual Zone Cooling System |
|
| Our dual zone cooling option provides two independently cooled and temperature controlled wine storage areas in one cabinet. Outfitted either with QT or WhisperKOOL cooling systems, dual zone cooling establishes two individual cooling zones each ranging between 45 to 70 degrees. Available in 550 and 700 sizes only.
Ideal for storing different types of wine that require storage at different constant temperatures. |

| Front Venting |
|
 |
The cooling solution for building our wine storage units into existing cabinetry or into tight spaces where ventilation is limited. This design increases cabinet height by 3 inches and encloses the backside. Two ventilation fans are mounted inside the top section. The fans draw air from beneath the cabinet across condensor coils and out the front of the unit (at the top). Note: It is recommended that the customer receive the unit prior to preparing the space into which it will be mounted |

Custom Dark Colored Powder Coating
If you have glass windows on your wine cabinet and your cooling unit is painted a light color, it is likely that the cooling unit is visible even when the wine cabinet doors are closed. Most people prefer not to see the cooling unit when the doors to their wine cabinet are closed.
All Vinothèque wine cabinets are sold with Vinothèque's own cooling units, ensuring a comprehensively engineered wine storage solution. Our wine cabinet cooling systems are all powder coated in a dark green, black color that help the units blend into the color of our tinted cabinet windows. As a result, the cooling systems visually appear optimally "hidden" inside the wine cabinet when the doors are closed. As a result the, the wine bottles stored inside are featured which is how it should be. |
